National Association of Foreign-Trade Zones Board Appointment
TAMPA, Fla.—Torrey Chambliss, manager of Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) No. 79 and cargo business development for Port Tampa Bay, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the National Association of Foreign-Trade Zones (NAFTZ).
Headquartered in Washington, D.C., the NAFTZ is an association of public and private members that is the collective voice of the U.S. Foreign-Trade Zones Program. The NAFTZ is the Program’s principal educator and the leader in demonstrating the program’s value and role in the changing environment of international trade. The association is instrumental in supporting economic development objectives and global competiveness of its members by providing a forum for disseminating relevant information and advocacy support on international trade issues.
